Design Consulting & DevelopmentJaroff Design serves as project designer and manager for metal and glass components within an overall project, taking designs from vague sketches to engineered solutions, detailed drawings, material selections, and custom metal and glass fabrication. Jaroff Design also coordinates the project’s realization, from production to installation, interfacing with all involved parties to ensure smooth and successful completion. In a problem-solving capacity, Jaroff Design steps in when unforeseen complications arise, specializing in complex issues relating to joining, finishing and fabrication. We work extensively with all metals, including mainstays of the building industry – stainless steel, bronze, copper, and brass – as well as more unusual alloys such as titanium, nickel silver, and corten-steel. Our full range of finishes, patinas, and treatments expand on these materials to create an endless array of options, from blackened stainless steel to oxidized copper to etched, sand-blasted, or distressed surface styles.
In glass, we offer custom cast glass to achieve sculptural forms as well as decorative, textured, tempered, insulated, fritted or frosted glass, with laminations and printed designs of all kinds. We also work with photovoltaic, LED and switchable glass, often in combination with custom-designed lighting systems, which can incorporate green design principles into all kinds of building projects.
InstallationWith complex materials, high-quality production is only half the battle. During on-site installation, our team of project managers, craftsman and crew ensure that everything comes together perfectly. Mison Concepts coordinates schedules and delivery, interfaces with other contractors and client reps, handles the juncture of metal and glass with other materials in the space and protects delicate finishes, materials and edges so the final product is flawless at delivery. While we are based in New York, installation crews can be coordinated for any location.
Materials and TestingMison Concepts works closely with designers to produce samples of new finishes, patinas or composites for metal or glass applications. We also provide material testing for performance criteria, environmental issues, green design efficiency, potential chemical reactions and safety concerns.

Technical SpecsAll of our doors and frames can be tailored in size and can be ordered as a single door or double door, with or without sidelights and transom. Our products come as complete installation-ready units, with weather stripping and hardware preparation, pre-hung in their frame. Thresholds are available upon request.
