Joseph Jaroff
Joseph Jaroff studied metalwork and sculpture at Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of the American Craftsmen and art history at Harvard University. While a student, he received grants for public art projects from the National Endowment for the Arts and The New York State Council for the Arts. After graduating, Joe moved to New York City to pursue an art career, supplementing his income by doing custom design and metal fabrication for contractors and commissioned projects.

Through this work, Joe found a special talent for working through a given design while collaborating with partners toward a shared vision. Joe realized he could fill an unrecognized need within the building and arts community for someone who would blend the skill set of a fabricator with that of a designer; someone who loved the chemistry of metal as much as the final result and yet, with an artist’s eye, understood the impact of the tiniest detail.

Since then, Joseph Jaroff has served as that bridge on a wide range of high-profile projects:

As part of the company’s Green Design Initiative, he is applying his distinctly creative, synthetic approach to developing Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems that are beautiful, practical and highly-effecient for both residential and commercial applications.
