Golden Iconastas Panels, Bronze Entry Doors, and Steeple Cross

When this congregation set out to build their new church, they wanted to carry on the tradition of Byzantine metalwork that makes Greek churches everywhere so dazzling. Starting with 17-foot tall bronze doors for the entrance, Jaroff Design and Mison Concepts’ expertise as ornamental metal contractors helped them achieve that goal. We devised new golden frames for the existing icon panels that extend across the room and central alter. Literally crowning the project, a custom-fabricated metal Greek cross, with welded circles and curving details was constructed for the steeple top, and blessed in a special ceremony before being installed.
